By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer Good evenin’, folks! Clouds have really thickened and we’ll have overcast skies tonight…but it does look like the best bet for any rain would be after midnight and even closer to daybreak. It’s gonna be a comfy cool night with temps in the upper 40s and low 50s – 52 in NYC. Tomorrow will start off with those light showers wrapping up mid-morning…and sun returns by late afternoon & early evening! Despite the AM clouds, we’ll still get into the mid 60s thanks to southwest winds and breaks of sun. Monday and Tuesday look great with nothin’ but blue skies and temps in the upper 50s to around 60…Feelin’ like fall and sure lookin’ like it too! We’ll have a solid rain chance Wednesday into early Thursday with a slow moving system tapping into tropical moisture…so check in soon for the latest!

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — “Star Wars” fans were treated to a sneak peek of the film Monday as teaser trailers for “The Force Awakens” were released, while tickets for the much-anticipated flick went on sale. The Force. It’s calling to you. Tickets on sale now: https://t.co/PwNxYwmCEe #TheForceAwakens https://t.co/UxAgY5MejQ — Star Wars (@starwars) October 20, 2015 The trailers were released on social media, while the entire two-minute trailer is expected to be played during halftime on “Monday Night Football.” Despite reports that tickets were going to go on sale after the halftime show, sites like Fandango and ArcLight began selling tickets earlier in the day. According to at least one “Star Wars” fans, it took him about 35 minutes to purchase his tickets on Fandango, which he said required him to continual refresh his screen as the site appeared to have crashed. The ArcLight website was also experiencing delays. Meanwhile, Lucasfilm also released the film’s new poster, which raised questions about the obvious exclusion of Luke Skywalker. “The Force Awakens” is the seventh film in the franchise. The film blasts its way to theaters Dec. 18.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The NYPD will soon allow officers to handcuff suspects with their hands in front, rather than behind their backs. As WCBS 880’s Stephanie Colombini reported Saturday, the change is part of the recent overhaul of the NYPD use of force policy. Department spokesman Stephen Davis told the New York Post the new handcuffing policy is in the revised patrol guide. He said front-cuffing will only be allowed for suspects with medical or physical disabilities. He told the newspaper officers will use their discretion to determine who is safe enough to qualify. Critics told the newspaper the practice of handcuffing suspects in front is dangerous, and even led to the fatal shooting of two detectives in 1989. The NYPD said the policy goes into effect on Jan. 1.

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — “I am so proud to be my parents’ daughter,” said Chelsea Clinton in responding to a man who recently broached the issue of paternity at a book-signing event. Clinton has been on a 20-city tour to promote her first published book, “It’s Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going!” “Has your mother ever told you that you’re the daughter of Webb Hubbell, and not Bill Clinton?” asked the man who Clinton had addressed as Robert. After Clinton responded, the man then said: “One more quick question about this book right here,” to which she responded, “Sure.” “You say it is targeted towards teenage girls,” he said, while she responded: “It’s targeted actually to kids, girls and boys.” The man continued: “Would you say that Bill Clinton also targets teenage girls?” “I would say my book is really resonating with kids,” Clinton said. The questions were posed Friday at the book signing event in Austin, Texas. The 35-year-old Clinton visited the Southland earlier this month. She said while here that she choose to write the book geared for ages 10 to 14 because, she said, “that’s really the age I was when I felt like I could make a difference.”
