Edd Sorenson, a technical cave diver on standby to go to Thailand if needed, serves as a coordinator with International Underwater Cave Rescue and Recovery. Sorenson is also safety officer for the National Speleological Society’s cave diving section. He joins “CBS This Morning” from Florida’s Blue Springs State Park, where he previously rescued divers from underwater caves.
