By Matt DeLucia, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer Happy New Year’s Eve! It’s certainly going to be a cold end to the year as high temps won’t sway far from the freezing mark this afternoon. With the winds, it’ll feel more like the 20s today in the city! If you’re going to be out and about tonight, definitely bundle up! Lows will dip into the upper 20s overnight with wind chills in the teens. Midnight forecast? A frigid 26, feeling closer to 15 degrees in Times Square. Brrrrr!! It’ll be staying chilly to start out 2015, with highs in the mid 30s on New Year’s Day. We finally get back to normal come Friday, with a forecast high of 39. The good news is despite the cold, it will stay dry for the next few days. Saturday into Sunday looks to bring our next round of precip with some above normal temps in the 40s. Be sure to check back in later for details on that. Finally, as we say goodbye to 2014, here’s a look at what the past year brought to Central Park… Happy New Year everyone!
