NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police were searching late Friday night for a man who escaped arrest in SoHo. It happened around 7:25 p.m. near Spring Street and Broadway. The escapee was described as a black man, last seen wearing a white shirt, blue pants and blue Nike sneakers. Sources told CBS2 he was in the process of being arrested for petite larceny.
