NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A former sales executive has filed a $5 million lawsuit against sports radio station WFAN and show host Joe Benigno over accusations of sexual harassment and a culture where “anything goes” among coworkers. Lauren Lockwood, who was a sports sales executive the station for five years until her termination in 2017, named Benigno and others working at WFAN in her claims of a hostile work environment, retaliation and discrimination. Benigno has been a WFAN personality for 24 years and currently co-host a midday show with Evan Roberts. Lockwood’s complaint points out she was one of five female account executives in a sales team of 25 men who made “sexual comments, outrageous sexual solicitations, unwelcome touching, innuendoes and hostility on a near daily basis.” The complaint also describes a work environment in which managers and sales team reps kept liquor in desk drawers, shared Jameson with pickleback shots and Tequila at the office and client events, and ran up company expenses for more booze up to $2,000 or even $4,000 per event with clients. At one meeting, she describes a coworker as appearing “drunk and smelling of alcohol” bragging about strip club meetings with clients and “paying for two prostitutes (cost $1,300)” which he later allegedly filed on an expense report. Lockwood also said the coworker was allowed “to go home early to sleep off the hangover.” In terms of her dealings with Benigno, Lockwood relates scenes of the veteran broadcaster giving her backrubs, whispering “in her ear about having ‘threesomes’ with him and his wife and prostitutes” and sexual encounters with other women working at WFAN. Lockwood said when she rejected Benigno’s advances, he complained to another WFAN employee he “can’t even give her a compliment.” Benigno was removed from the programming schedule on Thursday and reportedly refuted Lockwood’s claims through his agent. “Joe categorically denies the allegations,” said Mark Lepselter according to the New York Daily News . “My father once told me on any story, always consider the source and those who live in glass houses. We’re more than prepared to handle the situation if need be.” Lockwood’s complaint also describes a “Bro’s Club” atmosphere where men were given lower sales quota’s to make their goals, given more lucrative accounts, given better perks to sports events and generally treated less strictly in the workplace. In July 2017, a argument between a current and former WFAN employee in the station’s suite at the Barclay’s Center for the Mayweather/McGregor promotional tour – apparently comparing the two boxers – escalated into a fight in which Lockwood was caught in the melee. She was fired from WFAN the next day, the only employee to face such termination after the event. Lockwood also claims WFAN employees conitnued to interfere with her attempt to get a new job after leaving the station.

(CNN) — For the second month in a row, Time magazine has put a provocative photo illustration of President Donald Trump on its cover — this time, morphing him into Russian President Vladimir Putin. In it, Trump’s distinctive blonde hair, wispy eyebrows and pursed lips merge with Putin’s nose and blue eyes. The stunning photo illustration, by visual artist Nancy Burson, “is meant to represent this particular moment in US foreign policy, following the pair’s recent meeting in Helsinki, Finland,” Time said in a statement. Trump has weathered heavy criticism from Democrats and Republicans alike for his performance at the meeting, where he publicly sided with Putin over US intelligence agencies’ assessment that the Russians interfered in the 2016 presidential election. Since coming back home from Finland, the President has changed his messaging and now says he holds Putin personally responsible for the election meddling and believes the assessment of government intelligence agencies. In addition to the still image for the July 30 issue, Burson created a video image as well, which morphs back and forth between the seemingly-ever changing appearances of the two men. In that stark photo illustration, the towering figure of Trump looms over a sobbing child, who is the subject of a now-iconic photograph taken by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer John Moore. “Welcome to America,” the illustration reads. Use of the photo of the child generated controversy as well, after it was revealed that the 2-year-old Honduran girl had not been separated from her mother at the border. The latest image was created by a photography pioneer Burson, the designer of the latest cover, is a trailblazer in this type of art, starting with her work 30 years ago with scientists at MIT which led to the development of computer-generated compositing technology. She’s best known for developing a photographic face-aging technique that the FBI uses to find missing children, according to the Time statement. Her most famous aged image is the one of kidnapped 6-year-old Etan Patz that was on the front page of the New York Post in 1985. It showed what Patz might have looked like six years after his kidnapping. NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – An MTA conductor says he was attacked inside a subway station in Queens and now police are searching for two suspects. It happened on June 28 at around noon on the northbound platform at the Beach 36th Street station in the Edgemere neighborhood. The 37-year-old conductor says he was inside an A train when he stuck his head outside the conductor’s window. That’s when police say one suspect distracted him while the other punched him in the jaw. The conductor was not transported to the hospital. Police released surveillance images of two suspects. Memphis, TN (CNN/ CBS Local) — A Memphis woman said she feels betrayed after her date stole her car and then used it to go on a date with her God sister. As far as nights out go, Faith Pugh said the one she had Saturday with Kelton Griffin was disappointing from the beginning. She said when he showed up, he didn’t even bring his own car. “I don’t know who dropped him off. He just got dropped off,” Pugh said. Pugh said she knew Griffin from their years in high school, but hadn’t spoken to him much lately until he reached out and suggested dinner. “He just out of the blue texted me and asked me to go out,” Pugh said. They took Pugh’s black Volvo, but then Pugh said Griffin couldn’t decide where he wanted to take her. They ended up stopping at an Airport Area gas station. “He asked me could I go in the gas station for him to get a cigar,” she said. It turns out that was a big mistake. “He drove off. I came outside and my car was gone,” Pugh said. Pugh said her mother picked her up, but then she got a surprising text from her God sister, saying Griffin had asked her out. “I said, ‘Okay, well send me the address to where you at, and I’m on my way. Tell him to come on,’” she said. Pugh said they used the GPS on her God sister’s phone to tail Griffin before losing him, but then found him again at a drive-in movie theater on Summer Avenue. Pugh said he was in her car with her God sister. “He let her drive, so she drove him to the drive-in. He didn’t even have any money. She actually paid their way to get in the drive-in just so I could get my car back,” Pugh said. Police arrested Griffin that night. It’s not his first arrest. In 2016, police said he and two other men ate out before robbing a restaurant. If he’s looking for company for his next meal out, Pugh said he needn’t look to her. “I hope he’s in jail for a long time. I never want to speak to him ever again,” she said.
