Barlow put away a header from point-blank range to open the scoring in the 24th minute. Florian Valot’s corner kick was deflected by the near post off White to Barlow for the finish at the far post. Sean Davis lobbed an arcing ball to Kyle Duncan, who played a header across the area to White for a tap-in goal in the 26th. Christian Ramirez Scores Twice, Minnesota Beats LAFC 5-1

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Christian Ramirez scored twice, Darwin Quintero had a goal and two assists and Minnesota United won their third in a row with a 5-1 rout of Los Angeles FC on Sunday night. Ramirez and Quintero scored back-to-back goals to make it 3-1 at the end of the first half. Ramirez put away a loose ball in the 45th minute after Quintero’s corner was played out and then headed back into the area by Eric Miller. Quintero then made a run up the left channel behind a well-played ball from Miller and slotted the finish past the goalkeeper in the first minute of first-half stoppage time. Miguel Ibarra and Ramirez scored in the 56th and 58th minutes to make it 5-1. Rasmus Schuller opened the scoring with his first MLS goal for Minnesota (9-11-1) in the 25th minute, finishing Quintero’s pass from the middle of the area. Benny Feilhaber tied it for LAFC (10-5-5) a minute later with a blast from close range. Minnesota won four in a row at home for the first time in franchise history. Galaxy Score Twice In Stoppage Time, Beat Revs 3-2

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Chris Pontius scored twice, including the go-ahead goal in the 93rd minute, and the 10-man the Los Angeles Galaxy rallied with two stoppage-time goals to beat the 10-man New England Revolution 3-2 on Saturday night. Dave Romney made it 2-all for the Galaxy (8-7-4) with a header to finish Romain Alessandrini’s corner in the 92nd minute. The Revolution (7-5-7) spent most of the game down a man, but took a 2-1 lead on Luis Caicedo’s goal late in the first half and held that edge until the Galaxy’s late outburst. The Revs’ Cristian Penilla was sent off in the 23rd minute for kicking back at Alessandrini after getting knocked to the ground. Diego Fagundez opened the scoring five minutes later for New England and Pontius scored his first goal in the 38th minute for LA. Ashley Cole was shown his second yellow card in the 85th minute and was sent off for the Galaxy. The Galaxy’s star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was held out to rest.
