NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Hillary Clinton will be making an appearance at a summer festival in New York’s Central Park on Saturday. Conversation, music and food highlight the OZY Fest Saturday in the park’s Rumsey Playfield. The former Democratic presidential candidate, secretary of state and U.S. senator from New York is to be interviewed by the founder of the Emerson Collective, a nonprofit advocate of liberal causes. The subject is the “politics of the moment.” Other guests in the festival’s star-studded lineup include comedians Michelle Wolf and Hasan Minhaj; the band Passion Pit; and rapper Common. Also expected from the political arena are Republican political consultant Karl Rove, Democratic U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, of New York, plus authors Malcolm Gladwell and Salman Rushdie. Organizers say the festival was created to “break people out of their digital echo chambers.” Clinton is expected to take the stage at 5:00 p.m. (© Copyright 2018 CBS Broadcasting Inc. JONESBORO, Ga. (CBS News/AP) – Offset of the hip-hop group Migos is facing two felony gun charges after he and his bodyguard were pulled over outside of Atlanta. Clayton County Police Sgt. Ashanti Marbury told WXIA-TV that an officer pulled over a Porsche 911 Friday afternoon for failing to maintain its lane. Offset of Migos performs onstage during the 2018 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival at the Empire Polo Field on April 22, 2018 in Indio, California. (Getty Images) Police say Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was behind the wheel. The vehicle smelled of marijuana, prompting authorities to search the car and find three guns and less than an ounce of marijuana, according to police. The 26-year-old is on probation for a 2015 arrest on drugs and weapons charges. He is now charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a weapon during a crime. He also faces misdemeanor charges for marijuana possession and making an improper lane change. It is unclear whether he has an attorney. The development comes weeks after Offset and Cardi B welcomed their baby daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus. Cardi B recently tweeted she quietly married Offset in September because “there are moments I want to keep for myself.” © 2018 CBS Interactive Inc. All Rights Reserved. PHILADELPHIA (CBSNewYork/AP) — Rap icon Jay-Z is firing back after Philadelphia announced it’s ousting his annual “Made in America” music festival from the city’s grandest boulevard after this year. A city spokesperson told CBS Philly on Tuesday that a festival on the scale of Made in America “may no longer be necessary” at the location on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, steps in front of Philadelphia’s iconic art museum. “When the festival first started, it was intended to provide a unique attraction to the city on the otherwise quiet Labor Day weekend,” the spokesperson said. “Over the years, tourism has grown overall and the need for an event of this scale at this location may no longer be necessary.” In a Philadelphia Inquirer column Wednesday, Jay-Z accused the city of making a decision before consulting organizers, calling it a failure on Mayor Jim Kenney’s part. “We are disappointed that the Mayor of the City of Philadelphia would evict us from the heart of the city, through a media outlet , without a sit-down meeting, notice, dialogue or proper communication. It signifies zero appreciation for what Made In America has built alongside the phenomenal citizens of this city,” said Jay-Z, adding that the city allegedly tried to stop this year’s event. It’s unclear if the festival would continue and where it would be held. Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill and Post Malone are set to perform this year. According to the city, they will continue working with Made in America and producers Roc Nation to scout a new festival location within Philadelphia for 2019. The news website Billy Penn was first to report the city’s decision. (© Copyright 2018 CBS Broadcasting Inc. All Rights Reserved. The Associated Press contributed to this report.)
