KINGSTON, Jamaica — Smoke emanating from the Riverton disposal site off Spanish Town Road has blanketed a section of Kingston but is expected to clear up by midday, says Chairman of the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA), Dennis Chung.The NSWMA speculates that arsonists lit two fires at the dump in less than twelve hours yesterday.

LAGUNA BEACH (CBSLA) – A 15-year-old boy lost his arm Wednesday after he was trapped beneath a large rock in Laguna Beach. The boy somehow got trapped around 3:30 p.m. when his right arm and part of his leg became stuck under the rock near Emerald Bay beach, authorities said. Crews worked to free the teen, who lost at least part of his arm, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Tony Bommarito. NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — One person was killed and four more were hurt in crash involving seven vehicles, including a motorcycle, that snarled traffic on the George Washington Bridge late Sunday. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey responded to the collision on the inbound upper-level of the bridge around 8 p.m. The FDNY says two people were rushed to a nearby hospital. Their condition wasn’t immediately known. Drivers experienced delays of up to 60 minutes and were urged to find an alternative route into New York City as crews investigated the crash. It wasn’t immediately clear when all lanes on the bridge would reopen.
