A police constable who was implicated in a corruption charge was offered $300,000 bail when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish on Wednesday.Theodore Blake was charged with his colleague Shemoy Brooks with breaches of the Anti-Corruption Act, 2000 following accusations that they solicited $8,000 from a motorist for the return of his motor vehicle documents last month.

A man who is accused of threatening to kill his neighbour after he kicked off his door was remanded when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Friday.Chevaughn McArtis pleaded guilty to malicious destruction of property and not guilty to threatening the complainant.

A man who eluded the police for several days after allegedly killing his nephew was denied bail when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Friday.The accused, Kevin Taylor, 40, who is charged with murder, was remanded until September 7, 2018.When the matter was called up, Taylor’s attorney told the court that his client was defending himself.
